Dear Students, Parents, and Friends of HTPS,

I am deeply thankful for the warm welcome I have received as the new principal of HTPS. The sense of belonging and love that fills our school community is truly remarkable. It is an honor to be embraced as part of this wonderful family, and I am humbled by the opportunity to serve alongside each of you.

Now, as we embark on this new school year, I want to share my expectations for the upcoming school year. To help you remember them, I have created an acronym using the letters from our school name, HTPS:

H: Harmony
Let’s support and be kind to one another, especially new students. Together, let’s embrace our differences and celebrate the richness they bring to our collective experience.

T: Time Management
Time is a precious gift from God, and by managing it wisely, we can unlock our full potential. By setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and staying organized, we can seize every learning opportunity and achieve great things.

P: Politeness
Be polite and respectful to others. Through simple acts of courtesy and appreciation, we can create ripples of warmth and goodwill that extend far beyond our school walls. Whether it’s in English, Putonghua, or Cantonese, let us communicate with grace and understanding, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

S: Serving Others
Act out Christian values of love and compassion through serving others. By extending a helping hand to those in need, volunteering our time, we can ignite a flame of warmth that spreads far and wide. Join our voluntary team, “Shiny Angels,” and make a positive impact on our community.

Throughout this year, I am dedicated to upholding these values and working with all of you to establish an environment where everyone can succeed. Together, let’s make this year a time of growth, kindness, and achievement.

Yours Sincerely,
Ms. Natalie Ng
HTPS Principal
